The business began in 1984 in a small building on Route 9 in Champlain, NY, and expanded from that location into a service station and auto sales business near the intersection of I-87 and State Route 11 in Champlain.
The business further expanded in April 2008 to its present — and larger — headquarters at 15 Church St. in Champlain, NY. Owners Rick and Carol Garceau attribute the great success of the business to employees such as Kevin, sales representative Joshua Garceau, Jennifer Guay, and the rest of the experienced team at Garceau Auto Sales Inc.
The mission of the company is to create satisfied customers by providing the customer with the best buying experience possible and the highest-quality late model cars and trucks available.
